Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Märzen | Smoked Beer | 5.4% abv: Dark ruby with a generous head, good retention. Aroma is very smokey and savory, bacon like. The predominate flavor is smoke followed by roast malt, toast and smoked meat. Surprising light bodied and easy to drink, dare I say refreshing? It is an excellent BBQ ingredient as well.
